FORGE.FELLOWS

A pre-incubation program modelled as a comprehensive innovation fellowship that offers skills & competencies development in technology, design, innovation, business/ commercial planning, and enterprise creation.
Our primary objective during the program is to enable rapid design and development of prototypes to test utility, usability and adoption among early adopters.
The chosen beneficiaries are offered complete support to test the potential of the proposed solution to deliver a compelling value proposition while attempting to solve a real world problem, to serve a significantly large target market, and to become commercially viable.

A proven fellowship model of catalysing student innovation & startup activation.

By catalysing prototyping activity within the academic system/curriculum among students in higher technical/science education we can build a stronger pipeline of highly skilled problem-solvers. By helping them work full-time on their innovative ideas, we help them achieve significant progress in becoming all ready to launch startup companies. This gives them the confidence to startup right after graduation, and jumpstart their journey as entrepreneurs, highly-skilled innovators, job providers, agents of change etc.

Roadmap

A 3-day training and immersion workshop to learn and apply principles, tools & techniques of Design Thinking to refine the value proposition of innovative ideas that are worth prototyping.

A 6-day innovation BootCamp integrating in-depth problem validation, MUP ideation, 72-hour Hackathon, a guided workshop on grant proposal writing, and pitching to a jury of experts.

A 3-day residential capacity building, competency development and career enablement program for transforming educators into innovation mentors.

A series of multiple workshops that embed an innovation centered approach to learning tech skills in AI/IoT/Robotics etc. by designing and building prototypes to solve real world problems.

20 weeks curriculum integrated pre-incubation program to build permanently deployable solutions to test value, and validate market potential.

60 innovators in each cohort are awarded a Graduate Certificate in Hardware/AIoT Product Design and Engineering.

BootCamp offers in-depth mentoring by experts about the various technology, relevant sector/domain, business, market/commerical, and financial aspects of innovative ideas.

A 6-month in-residence pre-incubation program to fast-track prototype validation, customer trials, testing customer acquistion & sales strategies and prepare for full commerical production and launch; Grant financial support for each team, including ₹ 50,000 cash support per team.
